ARISE WOMEN

ARISE WOMEN began in January 2018 under the name Christian Women’s Fellowship. At the time, its founder, Elizabeth Knechtli, was raising two young children, ages three and one, and longed for fellowship with other Christian women. Because her church community was very small, she believed there must be other women in her area who also needed and wanted encouragement, connection, and spiritual support.

That desire became the foundation of ARISE WOMEN: to meet women wherever they are and equip them with the encouragement, fellowship, and biblical principles they need to become more like Christ and live out their faith each day.

ARISE WOMEN seeks to empower women in their walk with Christ—whether they are pursuing their careers, raising children, serving in ministry, or living faithfully wherever God has placed them. The ministry encourages women to embrace their God-given purpose and lead lives marked by Christ-centered leadership, faith, strength, and joy.

What began as a monthly gathering of just a few young mothers has continued to grow. Elizabeth remains grounded in Christ’s promise that where two or three gather in His name, He is present among them. She considers it a privilege to witness the work of the Holy Spirit through the ministry. Whether two women gather or one hundred, they trust God to meet them, transform lives, and work powerfully in their midst.

This is where ARISE WOMEN finds its strength and joy—in knowing that God is a loving Father who cares about every concern, meets His people wherever they are, and continues to work in and through them.
